Home Visits
Wherever possible we will always encourage patients to come to the surgery to see a doctor in the appropriate surroundings. Remember that there are better facilities for examination and treatment to help deal with your problem in the surgery.
If there is the possibility that the patient has an infectious illness, the receptionist can arrange for a safe waiting area upon arrival at the surgery.
Home visits are however, available for people who are genuinely too ill or disabled to get to the surgery or for the truly housebound patients.
If you think you may need a home visit, please phone the surgery before 11 am.
The receptionist will ask you a few questions regarding your visit request, this is in order to ensure that the doctor can prepare for your visit.
