Baby Clinic

This clinic is run by the Health Visitor normally on a Tuesday morning. Appointments will be sent to you from the Child Health Department at Bronglais Hospital for immunisations.

Child development checks are provided by the Health Visitor.  The Health Visitor will arrange appointments for baby checks at the surgery and childhood immunisations according to the recommended national schedule.

6-8 Week Checks are carried out by the GP at the Surgery. A letter will be sent to you once your baby has been registered with the Surgery offering you an appointment.

Antenatal Care

We provide shared antenatal care throughout pregnancy in partnership with our local midwives and obstetricians.  If you have had a positive pregnancy test, please contact the Early Pregnancy Unit on 01267 227 159 in the first instance.

Family Planning Clinic

Contraceptive advice is available from the Doctors and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Please Note: We do not fit/replace/remove IUD (Coil) at the Surgery. Please contact the Sexual Health Clinic on 01267 248 674.

Flu Vaccine Clinics

By appointment only. Clinics tend to start around October.

Flu and Pneumococcal vaccines can also be given opportunistically during surgery hours during from October until around February (while stocks last).

Adult Immunisations

The practice nurse provides immunisations during surgery hours. If you are going abroad and are in need of Travel Vaccination advice, you will need to make a telephone appointment with the Practice Nurse on a Wednesday for a discussion. The nurse will then organise any necessary ongoing care.

Minor Surgery

We no longer hold a minor surgery clinic due to a shortage of GPs. If we are fortunate enough to recruit, we may consider restarting this service. Please check back for further information.
